Elan Spire:
The Spire is the
ski all freeriding purists long for.
Designed for
advanced freeride skiers.
Beneath Alu top
sheet a laminated woodcore produces a progressive flex pattern
suited to everything from powder to groomed snow.
Long-lasting and
lightweight durability is delivered courtesy of DualTi
technology, while the incorporation of carbon and SST sidewalls
reinforce the ski’s structural integrity.
A Resort Rocker
profile and raised tail is added for superior powder floatation.
SST Sidewall
- Slanted sidewall technology is angles under 70 degrees and
combines versatility and forgiveness while assuring optimal
edge grip on the whole surface of the ski.
Channel
Woodcore- Super light core
with wood channels running trough the whole surface for
lighter weight and smoother flex. This unique construction
is combined with a thin aluminum profile on Elans Summit
series. It is specially important at ski hikes and soft snow
skiing.
Duel Titanium - Two titanium
layer is placed on top and bottom of the woodcore to enhance
the responsiveness. To the sides, Duel Titanium enables the
progressive flex pattern.
Thin Alumium Profile -
Ultra thin profile is specially developed for Elan,s
freeride skis. Woodcore sandwiched by two thin sheets of
titanal aluminum ensure maximum responsiveness, optimized
flex with torsional stability and reduced weight for
outstanding floatation and versatility.
Rocker Profile -
Refers to creating various amounts of lift in the tip and
tail when the ski is weighted. Rocker skis offer superior
float in powder and aid in maneuvering trough crud.
