Pivot:
It doesn't matter if you are pulling three's over a
tank of laser kitty wielding sharks or buttering onto a street rail
with a pretzel out, this board can handle anything you throw at it.
The RSR lite, S-Poontech, slightly softer flex and a smidge more
waist width make the Pivot the new standard for progressive
freestyle twins.
Period.
Freestyle riding is more than just another so-called category of
riding, it's a way of seeing endless possibilities, from an
abandoned fridge on the side of the road, to the handrail at your
school, to the flat down flat box in the local park, to the garbage
can at the side of the base lodge, to the perfectly groomed pipe, to
the bomb drop at the back of the convenience store, to the perfectly
sculpted backcountry booter, to the parking median, to the staircase
with the fence at the bottom to the...everything. It's this way of
progressive thinking that's behind the design of all Atomic mountain
freestyle boards.
The Flex Rating of an atomic board represents the flex within the
board. It's rated on a scale ranging from 1 (Very flexible) to 10
(Stiff).
This board is rated at
5, so it's a medium flex board, good for all-around purpose
boarding.
DR Sandwich Construction provides split second response and a
consistently poppy flex thanks to four layers of glass.
Layer one and two
run through the insert pattern from effective edge to effective edge
giving you superior energy transfer and edge hold.
The third layer runs
edge-to-edge for speedy transition from toe-to-heel and rock solid
stability, while the fourth layer runs tip-to-tail for a controlled
and consistent flex.
Twin prog Sidecut lets you preload your edges for crazy spin
momentum, regular or switch thanks to the tight tip and tail radius.
S-Poontech makes the boards feel shorter and buttery on a flat base,
but once on edge it gives the stability of a full effective edge.
It's ideal for park n`
pipe boards.
RSR +Lite gives your board a fighting chance in the war on rails.
Super tough ceramic p-tex runs alongside both edges and a layer of
rubber between the edge and sidewall fights off the nastiest of
impacts.
