Stormrider XXL:
Returning from last
season, this metal-laden express train is one of the best
all-mountain boards for bigger skiers and those who demand maximum
stability.
This ski also has top-notch handling, if you have the skills and
momentum.
Like all Stockli's what sets the XXL apart is the ride-utterly
smooth and solid through anything, predictable, and intuitive in how
it reacts to terrain and your input.
It’s a heavy ski that demands extra work at slower speeds, and one
that doesn’t tolerate sloppy technique. If you have what it
takes to let this ski run, you’ll be rewarded with superb
performance: tenacious hold, bank vault stability- there is no
better feeling ski at speed.
Needless to say, short turns or bumps
are not this ski’s element, but for medium to long turns on open
terrain on hard snow or crud, it’s at the top of the heap.
