The updated design of the PRD 14 GW ski binding offers top performance combined with maximum safety and easy handling. The robust and stable PRD 14 GW features the RX toe with TRP system, as well as the AFD GW. If you fall, you can count on the Full Diagonal release function to release your boot from the binding at 180 degrees, both vertically and horizontally. Your tendons, ligaments, joints and muscles will thank you. It features a DIN range of 4-14 and a host of safety features including our TRP System, Race Diagonal and ABS. Performance enhancing technology in the binding includes our Aero Toe, LD Heel and PowerRail base all of which allow a rider and their skis to perform to the best of their abilities. The adjustment range goes from 257-380mm which covers most men's and women's sizes. With easy tool-free length adjustability, a high-end response and precision release mechanisms the PRD 14 is a fast convenient ride-it-all binding. Twin Powerrail Base: A two piece base system to allow an unhindered ski flex.
Powerrail Track: This binding lies on a PR track which allows it to be easily adjusted to any boot size on the fly. Simply lift the tabs on the toe and heel pieces and adjust to the correct boot sole length.
D-RX (Diagonal) Heel: With a 150° release range, the Diagonal Heel releases directly into the direction of a fall and reduces pressure on knees and ligaments.
All Mountain Toe with TRP System: Allows up to 30% greater retention force without compromising safety. There are 4 rollers at the toe that remain flexible (spring loaded) at all times to keep the boot centered and to absorb sharp impacts.
Full Diagonal Heel: The top of the line for performance and safety, the side to side swivel of the heel allows for better performance and truer release by letting the springs on the heel hold the boot in place under lateral force. The binding can give but not release when you are exerting force such as a high speed carve, this helps not only avoid pre-releases but also ensures that the binding release when it needs to.
AFS - Anti Friction Slider: The TYROLIA AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) gliding element provides not only secure boot release but also rapid and exact boot recentering for better safety and reliability.
Duracoating: A protective seal on the binding to help reduce wear for looks and performance.
