The big deal is the combination of two innovations: AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) which absorbs and better protects against angled impacts and the Inverted Hybrid Construction which adds structural stability around the front and sides of the helmet.
Used for World Cup slalom, Atomic Count AMID RS is chin guard compatible and features AMID technology for up to 40% better protection against angled impacts.
