Santa Ana 82:
Introducing the most nimble ski in the Santa Ana collection. While the Santa Ana 82 is destined to be a favorite among skiers who spend most of their time on-piste, this ski also gives you the confidence to explore the trees, bumps and crud. Its enhanced design pairs a wood core and an elastomer Pulse core with a sheet of terrain-specific metal to give unrivaled stability and response. This ski combines the ideal width for on-piste skiing with a versatile shape that allows you to ski anywhere.
With an emphasis on creating an exceptional in-resort experience, the Santa Ana 82 is a smoother, more playful, and quicker addition to the Santa Ana family.
TSM Pulse Core: To create a ride that’s as smooth as it is stable, Nordica’s Santa Ana construction pairs our Terrain Specific Metal technology with our Pulse Core. The tailored sheet of metal combined with an elastomer layer and a full wood core allows you to take your skiing anywhere on the mountain maximizing performance and fun along the way.
Terrain Specific Metal: By adding the same shaped metal plate inside the skis, it increases proportionately with the decrease of the last. Through this technology, we were able to design unique constructions better suited for different terrain. The narrower Santa Ana have more power and stability on trail, while the wider constructions are more enjoyable off-piste and on softer snow.
Unlocked Tail Shape: With the goal of increasing maneuverability, the unlocked tail shape adds more rise to the tail of our all mountain skis. This tail shape allows you to pivot the ski at slower speeds and in tighter terrain without sacrificing the skis top end performance.
